1st Annual-Seasonal Summer/Winter Fashion Blog

Alright folks, it's finally here. The 1st Annual-Seasonal Fashion Blog. I gave a bit of fashion advice a couple weeks back, and in the weeks following I have been getting hundreds of emails, letters, and phone calls and the overwhelming response is "We want more fashion advice from you Bryant". I enlisted the help of Southern California native and fashion aficionado Adam Hayward and he really has some fantastic styles to highlight. So lets go ahead and get this started.

Colors; White is right for girls and guys this season. For guys the white jeans/white loafers combo is still a great choice and if you add a white v-neck or long sleeve button up to the combo you should be unstoppable. For girls bleached/stonewashed white jeans/cutoffs will do the trick all day long. Denim has also made the comeback. Denim long sleeve button-ups, Jean Jackets, and Jean shorts, etc.

Hairstyles; Guys: The Eurotrash rat-tail is still thriving in the fashion epicenters of the United States. Girls: Bangs are trendy. Side pony tails are still extremely popular and hott everywhere in the world, as always.

Looking trashy and haggard is also extremely fashionable right now. The more trashy the better. Ripped jeans and shirts, worn down shoes, messy hair, the whole package. It's important with this one to remember that the fad here is to LOOK trashy. I can tell you from experience that actually BEING trashy isn't nearly as trendy.

Adam Hayward says, "Girls: Wear huge sunglasses that cover most of your face, drop them bangs down over the forehead and purse your lips like a fish when you take a picture" he also adds, "High waisted pants, shorts and one piece top/bottoms are in there like swimwear, squeeze into some daisy dukes and droop a wavy pancho style shirt on top and you're in business this summer. Men love the 80's high waist, and they also loved the free tops of the 60's and 70's, so head on out to your local boutique and get a the best of both worlds to impress that stubborn tom." I'm not too keen on the huge sunglasses part, i'm very unsure if they are still popular or not, but everything else on that list is a definite GO!

As far as hats go...The beanie-on-the-back-of-the-head style turned 2 years old this year and guess what.... it's still popular. HOWEVER, if your beanie is still in the wash and your about to hit the town.... 1st off: major bummer dude, you've gotta plan these things better. 2nd off: you MAY substitute it for a Fedora hat (With or without the feather in the side) ASSUMING that it is either black or grey. Stripes are desperate and if you have a plaid fedora, you can stop reading this blog now.

Shoes: Plain old plimsoll style shoes are still the go-to footwear for both guys and girls. If you're not sure about what you want, just go to your nearest Urban Outfitters (USA)/General Pants Co. (Aus) and walk up to the first employee you see and say "fix me up" ........believe me, they have been trained to take care of you and you will most likely walk out of that store with some sort of v-neck/cut-offs combo. ....or they might just give you the plaid shirt/rolled-ups look. ....but now that i think about it, they could also give you the black on black jeans/leather jacket fit. Irregardless, there will still be a VERY good chance that someone else will own the exact same thing, so not to worry, It is popular.

Surprisingly enough, being yourself has also become very popular. This is where it gets confusing people. Its hard to tell who is being their self and who is being someone else whom they saw and liked better than their self. You just have to go off of pure instinct in this situation. But in either case, be extremely careful. There is nothing more dangerous than one human being, being another human being.

Special Thanks to Adam Hayward for his collaboration on this blog. He has a video out. You can see a trailer and buy it here. www.skimonline.com/2010/05/adam-haywards-new-dvd-the-box-now-on-pre-sale

Dragons

I was on the bus home last night and 3 drunk guys in their 20's stumbled on. They hungout near the front until the redheaded one saw a guy he knew from school who was sitting next to me. He came to the back sat down next to us and started talking to the guy next to me. The conversation was mostly the awkward "How've you been" "What are you studying" and neither of them seemed really into it. But then something magical happened. The red-headed drunk took off his jacket, pulled up his sleeve, and showcased his first tattoo; A giant dragon. That ran all the way from his neck, down to his arm. The dragons tail moved when he flexed.
